  2. Gatwick Airport V 1.0 tested with FS 5.0a only.

  6. This is my very first attempt at scenery design. An initial reaction may be to think
  7. that
  8. 500k is pretty big for just one airport. The airport however is highly detailed and the
  9. actual size is mainly due to the textures supplied.
  10.  
  11. IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES
  12.  
  13. This set contains two versions of Gatwick Airport.
  14.  
  15. The first is completely stand alone, and the second is an add-on for users of
  16. EURBGL.
  17. The second version contains no navaids and neatly fits over the top of the Gatwick
  18. Airport in EURBGL
  19.  
  20. If you have EURBGL then copy:
  21.  
  22.                          GAT.BGL
  23.                          GATE.BGL
  24.                          OAV-GATE.BGL
  25.  
  26. into your FS scenery directory.
  27.  
  28. If you do not have EURBGL then copy:
  29.  
  30.                          GAT.BGL
  31.                          GATZ.BGL
  32.                          OAV-GATZ.BGL
  33.  
  34. into your FS scenery directory.

  36. Copy all R8 files to your FS Texture directory.
  37. TURN ON SCENERY  TO VERY

  52. Scenery Features:

  54. Main and North Terminal buildings, many other buildings including: NCP Car park,
  55. Noble air building, Hertz car rental complex plus hangers with opening doors.
  56. Nearby town of Crawley, accurately placed. Aircraft on the ground  plus one in the
  57. air. Runway lighting (main runway only) Spotlights on airport ground. Airport trees
  58. and all the usual stuff.

  60. Also, Land Me feature is enabled for all you novice pilots.

  62. NOTE
  63.  
  64. The re-fuelling area does not have the customary `F` in yellow letters. It is a
  65. polygon covered with a texture. The polygon is a lot larger than the actual refuelling
  66. zone, so make sure to place your aircraft somewhere between the three fuel
  67. pumps to refuel.
